ScottG Posted March 2, 2021 Share #1 Posted March 2, 2021 Got this in on Saturday and I must confess it something I have never seen before. A crate for a flame thrower tank I think, it still has much of the original label intact. The donor found it in his house when he moved in. While its rather large, I think its pretty cool and we are supposed to get a flame thrower from another museum whenever Covid settles down. 6th.MG.BN Posted March 2, 2021 Share #2 Posted March 2, 2021 Now that is cool. Never saw one before. Any other ordnance, depot markings anywhere? Thanks for sharing. Ken
ScottG Posted March 4, 2021 Author Share #3 Posted March 4, 2021 Took a couple of days to get back to the museum but here is the stencil on the side of the crate. Scott

sundance Posted March 6, 2021 Share #5 Posted March 6, 2021 Great item. Is the inside wide open or are there supports or something so the tank could be secured?
