FFZFlyer Posted March 2, 2021 Share #4 Posted March 2, 2021 This is an exceptional group to a gallant soldier. I am glad it will be well cared for. it would be interesting if one could find out why this paratrooper was assigned to a “leg” unit especially with the 173d Airborne Brigade and the 1st Brigade of the 101st Abn Div in near constant contact during this period. I find it very interesting how his grave only has PH. I wonder why they did not put SSM on it.
scottplen Posted March 3, 2021 Author Share #8 Posted March 3, 2021 I assume his SS was authorized after he was already interned.
