Colonel Buie photos help ID location

I think that is a Greek flag, there is a crown in the white cross, also, the structure looks Mediterranean, hope this helps,

Here is a small group from his estate.

 

The enamel house number came in the paper bag marked  German von Leipzig.

 

I think it’s the number from the building where he took the German surrender.

Oh, I don’t remember a signed one. I believe there were three copies and mine is unmarked.

The only one I remember with anything written in it said “property of Col. Buie’s daughter”

Nice grouping congrats! I got one of his books (unsigned) from the auction and was able to purchase on the secondary market, one of his bring back Japanese crated rifles.
