mars&thunder Posted February 17, 2021 Share #1 Posted February 17, 2021 Attached is a wonderful original photograph I obtained of American Legion Post 118 women officers and color guard. This is probably taken in 1919. It is an 8x10 photo, so lots of detail to be seen when you have it in your hand. The medals are American Legion, but in one case it might be a local town victory medal. I see 5 yeomanettes and 3 nurses, as well as one not quite sure (holding American flag - most likely a nurse?). I can't identify where this photo was taken - every state appears to have had their own unique post numbering sequence starting with No 1, so 118 could be in any state. I'm hoping the fact that it was a women's post and the background suggests a potentially urban setting might be enough to identify it - I was unsuccessful in that endeavor.
