Tobyledog Posted February 17, 2021 Share #1 Posted February 17, 2021 Could anybody help id these please. They are marked HK on the nose hinge but I have never been able to find out who made them(nor where). They look similar to US ones I've seen. The lenses aren't original(I just made them out of a shirt packet!). Many thanks. Rob
Radio Operator Posted February 17, 2021 Share #2 Posted February 17, 2021 They look very similar to AN 6530 flight goggles but the nose piece on those is different compared to the goggles pictured. My best guess would be that they are civilian flight goggles from around the interwar period.

Matt-M Posted February 27, 2021 Share #4 Posted February 27, 2021 They look like commercial versions of the US Navy Mk1 goggles. Look like Willson's to me, but unsure..can't make out the marking on the nose bridge

Matt-M Posted February 27, 2021 Share #6 Posted February 27, 2021 Yes, civilian/commercial versions of the Navy Mk1's so late 1930's early 40's.
