YANK- The GI Story If War W/Swartzkopf Sr.

I'm reading this old beat up 1946 copy, and it's great with so many men's names and home towns listed. It's fun to look some of the names up and see if they're still around.  But I get to this one section and read about Norman Swartzkopf! So I did a double take and come to find out it's Swartzkopf Sr. I think I had read about him at some time, but it's funny how your gears stick in your head when a name from Desert Storm pops up in a book on WWII! Here's the paragraph about him:
