U.S. First Aid Pouch

I received this first aid pouch in a package deal with some other stuff & want to learn more about it.

I am assuming it was probably attached inside an aircraft. 

Any info would be great, kind of aircraft, era, etc.

They were used in about everything that flew but fighters.  I am not sure of the dates this specific version of the kit was used, but mine has a packing list dated 1955.  I think yours is just a little later, late '50's early 1960's. The scissors were never opened. They fit into the pocket on the front of the top side.  The tapered stitching is where the point goes. Someone added an extra stack of Bandaids, and the components are stored a little different than the packing list calls for, but this is the way I got it, so I left it alone.
