M1 liner dating

I have had this Liner sitting around for a while and I believe it’s a ww2 1944 Firestone liner, however I don’t know for sure. Any help or any ideas of when it was made would be great

That's probably about right. It's hard to tell what the suspension material is though - should be herringbone. Maybe it is and I'm just not seeing it.

Yes, this is a late war (1944-1945) production Firestone, you can tell by the blackened brass "A-washers". Also the adjustable nape straps tend to be 1945 dated when unissued.

 

The "44" stamped under the Firestone logo is not a 1944 date; it is the mould number that liner came out of for quality control purposes.
