collector Posted February 7, 2021 Share #1 Posted February 7, 2021 Thought Grunt Gear was expensive, then saw Clawson's 1911/A1 book prices!!!
Bob Hudson Posted February 7, 2021 Share #2 Posted February 7, 2021 Too bad the authors can't reap some of that value:
Okie96 Posted April 20, 2021 Share #3 Posted April 20, 2021 Have patience and keep your eyes peeled and you may see a copy of Grunt Gear in the neighborhood of 100 dollars. Maybe closer to two. That's what I did. You may be able to do the same thing with Clawson's collectors guide and civilian books but not the big book! I don't see the need for it though. I know it's like the same size as Seller's Sharps book, not real large, but with other works like Meadow's three volume work I don't know why it's still so pricey. Never seen one in person though. USARV72 Posted April 20, 2021 Share #4 Posted April 20, 2021 A few $100 can save one $1000.00’s in todays market. Plus you will always have a good book to thumb through on rainy days and help other collectors.
ottodog8 Posted April 23, 2021 Share #5 Posted April 23, 2021 I always liked the saying “If you think education is expensive, wait until you try ignorance”.
