Mitch ........

Very nice collection of boonies !

The first beach ball is made from the VNMC 1966 pattern cloth.

I own its EXACT same brother !

and a set dated 09 66 exactly the same.

Your parts hats are just the way you would like to see them ...thanks for posting.

Thanks Owen for the positve comments. I wish I had the amount and types that you have !!!

I'm going to post more hats . The next one is an almost unworn USMC one made from the shelter quarter. I'm not going to show the inside views as that is one of other things the fakers have not mastered. I'm going to show ERDL pattern ones after these 2 USMC and then odd pattern boonies.

Regards, Mitch

Nice collection!

The 1966 VNMC pattern itself is one of the most beautiful tiger patterns at all!

Your silver boonie is also a great piece of tiger stripes as well as the gold ones, I unfortunately don’t have one of those factory made gold boonies in my collection.

I like them all!

Thanks for showing!

Mike

Mitch,

They are some stunning examples, the USMC rain/boonie hats alone are enough to wet my appetite! It seems they made all sorts from WWII ponchos after the war, your example with the Japanese patch is a stunner.

Thanks for posting,
