Hs132 Posted February 6, 2021 Share #1 Posted February 6, 2021 Hello, I’ve been offered a grouping thru a local estate sale. I didn’t have much time for better pics as there was way more than I was prepared for. My question is the silver “Unissued presentation sword”, I haven’t been able to find internet reference. Any ideas? Here are some other pics of the grouping. I can get better pics but not at this time. Best, Bill
dhcoleterracina Posted February 6, 2021 Share #2 Posted February 6, 2021 Looks awful bright for a CW sword. I'd reach out to a CW dealer that specializes in swords for comparisons.
manayunkman Posted February 6, 2021 Share #3 Posted February 6, 2021 The sword could very well be post war 1880-90s.
manayunkman Posted February 6, 2021 Share #4 Posted February 6, 2021 What do they want for it and the collection?
Tom Pearcy Posted February 6, 2021 Share #5 Posted February 6, 2021 They might be WWI period. Middle one is Marine officer. One with monogram on grip looks maybe German NCO.
Hs132 Posted February 6, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted February 6, 2021 Hi, thanks. I don’t recall seeing silvery CW hilts and handles. In a rush I failed to get maker and etch pics. Seller would like a All for one price and there is none at this time. I’m doing my best to help out. best, Bill
