Hi everyone,  I would like to show you my last finding from central of Italy: it is an M1 Mc Cord  produced in summer of 1944 with camouflage given to "brushed" with white paint very similar to the examples I show you in the attached photos of some Special Service  Force in Italy during the 44th. The liner is an IMP (International Molded Plastics) with black sprayed stripes too. The helmet had much more white paint on the top of shell but over time it has worn a little. On the rear of helmet there is  like a "V" painted maybe could be a tactical sign? I believe that the helmet could be a former fixed bail since it has in some points the classic steel cracks typical of the first productions. Then perhaps reconditioned with swivel bail... but it is only my impression. Other comments are welcome !!!
