Hello all,

I just acquired this Silver Star on Facebook and I was hoping for some opinions to confirm it looks correct.

it is numbered but a little difficult to make out. I believe it’s 18935- would that make it a WW2 example? Thanks for any info.

Yes, looks like “18935” on a WWII BB&B star.

There is a number list here on the forum, which should tell you if it’s identifiable to the recipient based on GO.

This star is manufactured pre-WW2. The fact that it is not engraved with a name indicates that it is probably issued in WW2.  The Black box is a second indication to this.
