917601 Posted January 23, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 23, 2021 I picked this up, fairly common WW1 37mm. However, what is interesting is it has been over stamped with a 1943 date. It is not for sub caliber naval guns ( usually marked as such)so I am curious as to it’s use. I am not aware of any 37mm Model of 1916 ordnance in use during WW2 ( some sources state some outdated 37mm WW1 cannons were used early in the war in the Philippines.) Any ideas?
