GreenStar67 Posted January 21, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2021 Picked these up at a garage sale last year - I'm not an expert but they appear to be WW1 dog tags? - the two larger tags are identical - 1-3/8" diameter x 1/16" both are stamp marked "LEO ROWE U.S.A." on one side and "6768059" on the other. The smaller tag measures 1-1/8" diameter and marked "LEO ROXE" on one side and "6908998" on the other. The seller said they belonged to his great grandfather and the "X" on the one tag was a misprint and should have been a "W" He really didn't know much else. He said the three went together - I'm wondering if these are real dog tags and why different number on the smaller one? I gave $5 for them so it it turns out they are just metal discs, no great loss, any information would be appreciated.
