5thrangerson Posted January 20, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 20, 2021 Is there anyone that knows of any of the bottom plugs for a MKII grenade? Either real or a resin part? I've got a grenade body that I am restoring that came from an auction. Had corrosion all over it and was then painted green. A friend sandblasted it and it came out pretty much spotless. If I am not mistaken this is an early MKII. Should it be yellow or green? Thanks for any help.

917601 Posted January 21, 2021 Share #3 Posted January 21, 2021 Your choice. Some sources point out some manufacturers never went to solid bottoms. I would paint it depending on the fuze number. An M10A3 I would go with green with yellow stripe neck. An A3 over strike and prior you can go with yellow body.
