I had to check this out. I'm speechless.  Shaking my head... some where out there some one will have to have this for there collection. It will show up in latest finds. Or what's it worth.

Nice find on eBay

Can someone post a link to it?

A great home front item if it can be proven.

That colander doesn’t match the one in the picture of the children.

As a matter of fact while watching a late night home shopping channel, I saw the exact same one, brand new, for 3.50 but if you called right away they would give you 20 of them for 10.00.

They claimed that it really really works and that your spaghetti won’t slide through the holes.

Now this sounded really good to me so I thought to myself that if they offer free shipping and a brush I’m in.

They offered free shipping for a fee but no brush so I was out.

I think they were from China.

So in my opinion as humble as it is, this is an easy green repop.

But I do agree with dogsbody that outfighting your galley with 1920-30s pots and pans will turn your kitchen into another part of your collection.

And where did the name dogsbody come from?

All I can think is that you lost your pet?

I hope you didn’t.

😂

Just call me dogsbreath.

Bader has his legs delivered to him by parachute after he was shot down and lost the ones he had.

Someone told me that they flew and old pot.

While I'm sure the ad is real, I think the vendor is just having a bit of fun with something very common. Just look at us talking about it!

Honestly a 1940s colander for $30 doesn’t seem like a bad deal, FWIW.

Depends what the heat stamp number is. Haha.

Careful there, fellas.  This may be a legitimate religious artifact from the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, specifically the "holey headwear" as I've heard it called.

Don't believe me?  Check it out:  https://www.spaghettimonster.org/ or do an internet search for Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Finally I’m learning something from USMF! My favorite informative topic on the forum today.

My first helmet as a kid was a cooking pot that looked like a WW1 doughboy helmet.  I couldn't use it to drain spaghetti but it worked for me.  I don't think I'd pay $30.00 to get it back though.
