It is made out of a Collins machete with a horn handle. I assume from WW2. The blade is 11 1/2 inches and you can see part of the Collins logo. The horn handle is carved into a dogs head. Filipinos were (and still are) very handy at this sort of work and the scabbard looks similar to ones I have on Philippine made bolos and fighting knives. Very cool item.
