JBCannon Posted March 14, 2007 Share #1 Posted March 14, 2007 'Gmorning; I am sure that others have this problem: An otherwise excellent knife with the tip broken off. These blades are not going anywhere, but it is discouraging it see them in this condition. Knowing full well that the value is greatly diminished in either case, which is better--leaving them as is or having them re-tipped? The M3 is a blade marked and dated Camillus. The FS is the 3rd Pattern ring & bead with a /!\ 12 ("ENGLAND" stamped on the guard). Any opinions? Jim
Costa Posted March 14, 2007 Share #2 Posted March 14, 2007 leave them alone. they are what they are and retipping will damage more of the blade. and yes-- the value is croaked!!
