tigerfan Posted January 8, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 8, 2021 Three unknown (at least to me) patches from a military patch collection. The BAND arc is a flat bevo style weave. Thanks for any help.
manayunkman Posted January 8, 2021 Share #2 Posted January 8, 2021 Love Saint George killing the dragon! St George’s school ? I graduated from a St George’s School but our patch was quite different incorporating the cross of St George. Both patches I’m sure are school related. Matt-M Posted January 24, 2021 Share #3 Posted January 24, 2021 I would agree, especially in the case of the hand holding the torch. Often, the torch, since it provides light, is a symbol used in relation to providing enlightenment through schooling / education. You will find it in many military school / training motifs. M.
