summer65 Posted January 6, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2021 I'm trying to learn more about the different types of fasteners on DIs. I do have Capistrano's four volume set on DIs from1939-1946. He does reference several types of fasteners both American and Overseas. There are so many DIs without hallmarks that I can't determine who would make a certain type of fastener. You can make things easier for yourself by going by time frame - pre-war/early war SB; WW 2 - early 50s PB; after that, CB. They will have HMs, for the most part.
