RWW Posted January 6, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 6, 2021 The Air Force put a carbine oiler in Survival Kits when there was a rifle packed in them. Below is a photo of the page from a Personal Equipment Officers Manual describing the oiler. Has anyone ever seen one that was sealed with paint? If so, what kind of paint was used? Finally, does anyone have any information on filling and sealing the oiler? I realize just because he manual "says" doesn't mean that is the way it was. I wasn't sure exactly where I might get the best answer to this, so I posted it here and in the Firearms Forum.
