Thrifter_01 Posted January 5, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 5, 2021 I don't usually collect patches, but this patch display was too interesting to pass up. I bought this a couple months back at an estate sale, the frame that was originally on it was broken when I got it, so I am currently trying to find a replacement. Patches seem to have been glued on to the back of the paper, with the digits having been written on flashcards by a typewriter, seeming to have been stopped sometime in the 70's. I am not sure if some of the patches are period appropriate or authentic, but if nothing else, it is a cool display piece. Sorry for the camera quality in advance. tredhed2 Posted January 5, 2021 Share #2 Posted January 5, 2021 All the patches are period originals. The background on the 1st ARMY patch was changed Nov 17 1950.
