Phil, To clarify, the cap is not an "Airflow". That's just a sweatband name/marking. I have seen those on stiff brimmed service caps - maybe even on different maker's caps. I'll have to check on that last one.

Yeah I kind of figured that with the ventilation holes in the sweatband haha

Other manufacture's (including Society Brand) jumped on the ready-made crusher bandwagon along with Bancroft, undoubtedly the most popular. Though this one I strongly believe is a ready-made example with the 1 ply rollable visor.

Not too practical on a windy carrier deck, I'd guess, but not unheard of elsewhere.
