It is almost in perfect condition, not marked, but on the hardware there is a W or M in an oval. Very tiny bit of slight rust on hardware. Many thanks! So what is it? Haha, I should have caught that from the pics. FWIW also I checked a WW2 period carbine sling with a similar buckle and it does not have any marking on the buckle.
