WWII USMC Vet Norman Sutherland Jr's S&W M1917 Revolver. He put on some cool sweetheart grips as many vets did with their personal sidearms. He was a BAR man with the 1st Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment 3rd Marine Brigade, Fleet Marine Force serving in the Solomon’s Campaign. Thanks to my friend Matt for the information.

Finally received USMC Sunderlands service records from the Archives procured by Golden Arrow research! His records were 38 pages long and it was interesting to find out he served on Iwo Jima!
