Persian Gulf Command Posted January 4, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2021 This Blade Dated Kinfolks M3 with a Milsco M6 is being offered on eBay. Is it all legit? The M6 looks good but I'm not getting a good feeling about the blade. What do you all think? Here is the listing No. - 264999336097 Some pictures:
SKIPH Posted January 4, 2021 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2021 Looks good to me! Tip of the blade looks like it was filed some, but doesn't appear to have been broken, but hard to tell w/o a comparison or measurement. Milsco scabbard is correct for a blade-dated Kinfolks. The Buy Now price seems a little high at $1095. SKIP
EmperorWangDong Posted January 4, 2021 Share #3 Posted January 4, 2021 I agree with skip, looks OK but price seems high.

ccyooper Posted January 4, 2021 Share #5 Posted January 4, 2021 I’m not with my knives but that tang doesn’t quite look right from memory. Early kinfolks were very nicely finished and it appears that the blade as pictured was blackened after someone sharpened it but that could be the pictures. I was searching on my phone and found this one unfortunately the top is not pictured. It is the one on the right.
SKIPH Posted January 4, 2021 Share #6 Posted January 4, 2021 At first I felt the tang was "iffy:, instead of digging out my blade-dated Kinfolks, went to Bill Walter's book. The tang looks very much like what he has pictured, But, went ahead and dug mine out. Pretty much the same. SKIP
