Thomas Dinackus Posted January 1, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 1, 2021 From the early 1960s through the early 1980s, many US Army Armor and Cavalry units wore unofficial gunnery qualification patches. This practice largely ended in the mid-1980s. However, I understand some units are again wearing gunnery qualification patches. Below are three such patches. It appears most of these units are assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division. I would appreciate any information anyone has re these new/current patches. Also, I have many of the older gunnery patches to trade, if anyone is interested.
gwb123 Posted January 29, 2022 Share #2 Posted January 29, 2022 Thomas, thank you for the update. It is nice to see that some of the Cold War traditions carry on. We have a nice long thread about some of the older TCQC patches here: Feel free to add anything you have.
