korea drab Posted January 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2009 Hi I did a search and found a few intersting treads on them, but still a bit confused. I am looking to purchase two bags. One for the army and one USMC. Are diferences between ww2 models and KW? And why 99% of the bags are without the top cord? Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance The seabag used by the Marines throughout most of WW2 was a mustard tan heavy canvas and early ones have heavy bronze hardware. But either late in the war....or maybe post war....they adopted an OD #7 seabag that had tan trim and "USMC" stamped on the outside by the web handle. That's the one you probably need for the Korean War.
