Liner with unidentified markings

I have owned Sgt. Joy's liner since USMC-Recon0321 let it go and have yet to dissolve the mystery of the yellow hearts.  I came across another liner that had the same hearts but painted red and had to have it as well.  Upon side by side comparison the soldiers names were painted by the same stencil in the same way.  There's black paint underneath with the white stenciled letters on top.  Same stencil, same size, same white paint so without a doubt these liners came from the same place, but where is the mystery. He was a very loving guy. Brought Joy to all those around him. Was his private insignia. Great liner and great mystery. Doesn’t look like a typical kid playing around with dads liner either
