I would say that it dates to the mid 1920's after the insignia went from bronze to gilt. It is larger than the insignia worn in WWII. As for venues for selling, there is a for sale section on this site, though you have to have 50 posts before you are allowed to offer sales items. Your other options are eBay or one of the Face Book pages that offer members to post items for sale. I'd estimate the value of this piece at around $30 to the right buyer.
