U.S. Surplus Mystery Holster?

Hello, again.

A local gun store where I shop has 2 of these holsters in a plastic tub with other assorted holsters and belts. I'm guessing they have probably been there for 6 or 7 years. They appear to be NOS, and are made out of black leather. They are marked "U.S." and "Hill Country Leather". There are also some NSN numbers or a CAGE code or something on them (see pics). I have tried researching them but can't find much information at all about them. I am assuming they are for a 1911. If I had to guess, I would say they aren't very old. Maybe late 80's or early 90's? I'm thinking about buying one but I would like to know a little bit more about them - like the years they were made, if they had a model #, etc.

Sorry for the bad pics my camera isn't too great and it was under fluorescent lighting.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Standard USAF Beretta M9 holster.

Thanks. I thought it might have been for the Beretta but the only M9 holster I was familiar with was the green Bianchi version with the metal clip.
