German WW2 military typewriter

Hello, I picked up these items recently. The Vets son related his father was an aerial photographer with the 9th AF in the ETO and brought home these pieces. He told me no one ever used it and it sat in its box in the garage. It amazes me that way back when you could ink the address right on the box. There were these two nice bayonets. Best, Bill
