james127 Posted December 13, 2020 Share #1 Posted December 13, 2020 I think that one of the most overlooked parts of WWII is the Battle of the Atlantic. I had a chance to visit an old fort in Maine that was instrumental in guarding the eastern seaboard against U-boat attacks during the war and whose location has roots that go all the way back to the Revolutionary War.
