dustin Posted December 12, 2020 Share #1 Posted December 12, 2020 I do not have Meadow's book handy so I'm not sure what he says about the developmental parameters of the M7 shoulder holster. Here are several Army Ordnance images demonstrating the holster, no textual documents accompanied them so it is left to a little interpretation. It suggests here that it could be used in two configurations, one like that of the standard M3 or over the shoulder and secured to the body by a chest strap. Relative to the individual's comfort. thorin6 Posted December 13, 2020 Share #2 Posted December 13, 2020 I always wore my M7 like the third picture; never saw any one wear it like an M3. Also, I never used the belt tab and, again, never saw any one use it either. Once you start moving around, the strap over the opposite shoulder becomes uncomfortable and the strap across the chest give a more positive feel. Picture below should show this.
