Brian Keith Posted December 11, 2020 Share #1 Posted December 11, 2020 I’ve had this token for who knows how long, I haven’t been able to find out what A.S.M.S. stands for. The token is 1 ½ inches in diameter and is made of aluminum. Likely it dates from the post WW I era. Being worth $1, that is a bit of coin in that day! Thanks in advance for any information! lettow Posted December 11, 2020 Share #2 Posted December 11, 2020 According to Paul Cunninghams catalog of US military tokens, it is from the Air Service Mechanics School at Kelly Field, TX.

lettow Posted December 12, 2020 Share #4 Posted December 12, 2020 The catalog is long out of print. Copies appear on Ebay occasionally. There are two volumes -- one for stateside and one for overseas.
