Many Mark 2s had plastic scabbards.  The PAL was originally issued in a leather sheath but many Sailors/Marines replaced the leather sheath with the plastic scabbard because the leather didn't do so well in the Pacific.

Here's an overall picture of the knife along with the markings.

what is the value for this dagger with hard sheath and not original leather? thank you

you really have to look on ebay and compare previous sales and the condition of those knives to your knife.  They are all over the place $$ wise.  I have seen some RH37 PAL's go for $125 and others in the same condition got for near $400.  I also believe a lot of it is how well you word the description and auction title.  as an example,

thank you for your reply. I suspect that the prices are variable on ebay and as you say, it depends on the photos, description .... so in very good condition for 200 dollars is a good average !!!😃😃😃

The Mark 2's typically sell for less than the USMC version.  PAL only had a contract in 1943 and only produced one version of each.  There is a variation where the military markings were removed or not placed, and have an aluminum pommel like the PAL RH 36, but not much information out there other than they are somewhat uncommon.  Here's a quick picture of one marked with RH PAL/MADE IN U.S.A. 37.
