Do you recognize the insignia on the front of this late/post WWII M1C paratrooper helmet with 82nd. Airborne insignia

I know it's hard to make out the insignia/decal on the front of this M1C paratrooper helmet but I was hoping someone might have seen a similar one? It almost looks like it could be Corporal or Sargent stripes?

One side still has some of the 82nd A/B division decal and the other has less of it.

Helmet is late WWII/post rear seam s/b. Shell still sports it's WWII green cork/paint finish.

Any ideas much appreciated.

Interesting🤔.....mike

Ugh! Mike I was hoping you would be the one person to maybe shed some light on the front marking.

I know it's hard to say with what is left of the marking. The only thing I could think of for an 82nd. A/B side marked lid was rank on the front.

Maybe someone else might have seen a similarly marked one?
