cgutierrez Posted November 26, 2020 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2020 My Father-In-Law passed away a bit over a month ago. He was with the 513th and the 194th Regiments of the 17th Airborne Division during WWII and participated in the Battle of the Bulge and Operation Varsity. I set up a small display area in my display room in his memory. The cap, wings, CIB, M2 knife, the Airborne First Aid pack, and the helmet Liner (not the shell) were part of his bring backs - all the rest is part of my collection. ArchangelDM Posted November 28, 2020 Share #5 Posted November 28, 2020 Excellent display and a very thoughtful reminder of your father In law - Dean "Rise and rise again until lambs become lions." Always looking for ww2 USMC items, helmets and any camo'd items "thinking outside of the box" New website https://combatusedmilitaria.com
