A Krag and a Commando

Recommended Posts

So the gent who donated the Winchester Model 12 riot gun earlier this week today added to the tally, with a really nice Krag and a mint Colt Commando...here's the Krag (if the picture looks dorked, it's because I stitched two pictures together...). The serial number is in the 1902 production range I believe.

...and the Colt Commando....again pardon the picture, it's late and my ability to properly edit a picture seems to be in doubt tonight.

...and the markings.  Additionally, from another source we got in a Korean War Ike from a soldier who immigrated from Germany in 1952...during the war he'd been in the Deutsche Jungvolk, and his oldest brother served in the Kriegsmarine and was KIA when his U-Boat was sunk. The man's father also served in WWI as an NCO, and five (5) of his brothers were killed in the "Great War".

Any-hoo, here's some pictures....
