mikie Posted November 21, 2020 Share #1 Posted November 21, 2020 Just saw this on another forum. This may tempt me back into modeling after my unfortunate attempt at the tiny destroyer escort project. My old arthritic hands can probably handle this one. https://www.scalemodelnews.com/2020/01/125-scale-jeep-vs-giant-godzilla-in.html Mikie

ArtyScout Posted November 23, 2020 Share #7 Posted November 23, 2020 I've watched some of those old Godzilla movies. Godzilla can take them out from that distance. LOL. I'm looking forward to this build. This jeep is considerably bigger than your Destroyer Escort. I believe this will come out looking very good. BTW, I liked your DE. Semper Fi. earlymb Posted November 23, 2020 Share #8 Posted November 23, 2020 Note it's 1/25 scale, bigger than the usual 1/35.
Proud Kraut Posted November 27, 2020 Share #9 Posted November 27, 2020 Mikie, I would love to see the sprues before you start to build this.
mikie Posted November 28, 2020 Author Share #10 Posted November 28, 2020 I actually haven't bought the kit yet. I'll post if and when I get it. The DE was quite a challenge that I enjoyed but it was tough for my very low skill level. I get some time off around the holidays, so maybe this will be an Xmas gift for myself. Thanks for the encouragement. Mikie
