M1 Helmets - the colour of combat

I recently put a few of my collection together for a group shot, I wanted to see what each one had in common with the other. Over the past couple of years I’ve concentrated on only collecting field used items, studied the wear and tear such items receive and also the colours and what the environment and age does to them.

Marine core hand camod items being top of the list for my collection I noticed all of them carry very similar characteristics, wear and colour.

I thought these pics came out nice and wanted to share and show my love of salty used M1s

enjoy

Awesome collection. Thanks for posting. The helmet on the top right with the yellow vescient paint (Hope I'm spelling that right)and the bullet hole is pretty neat. Is that a paratrooper helmet?
