Dating SCR 536/BC 611

Hello,

Having checked the internet I have not been unable to find a production/date-plate like this one. It has no date, no serial number.

Might this be an early model? Or a later refurbished one. What I understand is that the later refurbished ones carry the code LSD (Lexington Signal Depot), followed by a number.

Any information wil be appreciated. The handy-talkie is not in my possession, yet. For me, it is important to know if this one is a genuine ww2 piece.
