The marking on the inside flap indicates it was made at Watervliet Arsenal in NY. Today, the arsenal makes cannon barrels for the US Government. m1a2u2 Posted November 16, 2020 Author Share #2 Posted November 16, 2020 Next up is the USMC blanket bag (left) and the haversack (right), similar to the Army ones but the Army M1885 was slightly smaller. USMC haversack meat can pouch is closed by a leather thong, unlike the Army one. Both were made at Philadelphia Depot as marked on inside of the flap.
