Family photographic history CW to WWI Part Two

Recommended Posts

An Army Vet stopped in Wednesday wanting to drop off two large envelopes of family photos of his father (WWII Marine), Gfather (WWI Army),  GGfather (SpanAm Army) and GGGFather (Civil War Union Army) and another I believe is a great Uncle (WWI Marine)...here's a portion, with this being the coolest...generations back to the CW. Note the GAR membership badge with officer suspension bar and reunion medals, and the little guy on the right who served as a musician (the back of the photo just says he was a drummer or bugler).

This isn't quite a "yard long"...more like a "half a yard long." If you look at the center, you'll see a Corpsman (I assume), and another little kid in uniform with a bugle. The date on the photo looks like it says 1923(?)...

The next series I'm having problems sorting out..on the one hand, it looks like interwar Army guys...and one man is definitely a Top Kick...but the group photos look like they're wearing EGAs and some odd looking emblem on their pith helmets....any ideas, experts?

This is the neat part...in 1944 Corporal White was on a CBS Radio program called "Service Time!"...there's a complete photostat of the program's script, as well as the original typed script..which doesn't look like it ever had the first page attached...and so it goes....
