WW1.   DON"T polish it either as the finish is supposed to be that dull color. 

I have a few. I've seen some at flea markets/antique shows where a 'helpful person' has polished these up such that the original, purposely done finish is gone!😝

I've had people call me & send pics of items, then arrange a meet & when I got it in hand they had "cleaned" it for me. [emoji2959]

Well, the under finish might supposed to be dull, but that green corrosion will eat through the entire piece if you don't get it off. So, I'd do some sort of work on that. Really cool item, though!
