tarheelyankee Posted October 31, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 31, 2020 Hello all, Found this medal while sorting through a box of miscellaneous items, forgot I had it and can’t for the life of me remember where it came from. LOL 😆 Ribbon just hanging by a thread but all there. Numbered No. 4554. Was hoping maybe one of my more knowledgeable and better resourced Forum friends may be able to supply a name/regiment/hometown as to the hero who was awarded this for his invaluable service to our Nation. Thank you all for any and all help that may be provided. Stay safe all during this coronavirus crisis, and my fervent hopes are we all can resume our normal collecting and show schedule activities come 2021. WANTED: Any and all Civil War items relating to the regiments mustered out of Syracuse, NY during the War of the Rebellion, 122nd NY Infantry, 149th NY Infantry and 185th NY INfantry. Anything relating to Colonel/Brig. General Henry A. Barnum. Also wanted WW1 medals from Solvay, NY and Fayetteville, NY. All e-mails answered. Member of American Civil War Research Database.
