ARRS Aerial Recovery patch- ???

Recommended Posts

I’ve had this patch for as long as I can remember, but know nothing about it. Anyone?

I believe is a generic patch for the Fulton Recovery System, or Skyhook. I saw this attributed to the 40th ARRS before, but they flew  mostly helicopters except for two years in the mid 70s they had C-130s attached, not  so I'm not sure of that connection. Besides, it has a generic look to it, even if they used it others may have as well.

Skyhook came to mind when I dug it up the other day. First time I had seen it in about twenty five years. Thanks. Hopefully, others will chime in with more.
