Need help - Two M1 helmets recently acquired

Hello M1 experts. I am looking for your help on two helmets that I recently acquired. They were both listed as WWII era but Now that I have them I don’t believe that’s fully correct. Hopefully I didn’t made bad acquisitions but I have a feeling that I did.

 

the first is a worn front seam M1 with a capac liner and what appears to be a 1 or I above it. The pot is crusty inside so it’s hard to get a good read on the numbers. 
 

the second is also a front seam and it also has a capac liner  This one has and 18 under it. The liner has a mobilitate Vigemus sticker on it. The liner and strap have green paint splattered on them, my guess is from someone “restoring” something. 
 

One thing I noticed is that I noticed right away is that they are different shades of green. 
 

I am beyond a novice when it comes to helmets. Hopefully the pictures can give you a good look at what I’ve got.

The first one to me looks have all WW2 era parts minus the repaint. The second one has a late WW2 if not Korean war chinstrap on the shell, but the rest of it looks WW2 era to me. I'm guessing someone tried to do a repaint of the 1st shell as well since Korean war repaints are a darker green and slightly glossy.

I just noticed that I failed to include the picture of the outside of the liner of the second helmet. I’m looking at the decal and paint and it looks recent as opposed to original.
