market garden Posted October 25, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2020 I have this coming in with alot of militaria. Appears to be a M1 fix bail unit marked helmet. Sorry this is the only photo I have at the moment. I have not been able to find a simular unit marked helps like this one in my research. Your opinions and constructive comments are welcome. manayunkman Posted November 17, 2020 Share #4 Posted November 17, 2020 MG wants an ID on the painted mark. Its clear enough to make an ID in my opinion.
Bugme Posted November 17, 2020 Share #5 Posted November 17, 2020 Could be post WWII A/B markings. As for authenticity, that is unfortunately hard to do based on the one photo. If there were some way for you to get some better shots in natural light, along with closeups of the markings, it may be easier. I realize that it is not in your hands so, getting better pics may be impossible. "There is no such thing as an expert, only students with different levels of education."
